What to do from here

Onda is a compact destination: you can cover the castle, the historic centre with its balconies and medieval alleyways, and the Manolo Safont Tile Museum in a single day. For day two, the Sierra de Espadán is about 20 km away, with well-marked hiking and mountain-biking trails. And if you want to combine inland and coast, the beaches of the Costa de Azahar (Castelló, Benicàssim) are 25–30 km via the CV-10.

The parking area is also a convenient base for visiting Vila-real, Betxí and the ceramic corridor of the Plana Baixa, or for heading to the Sichar Reservoir: whether for kayaking or a stroll along the shore.
