What it is and who it's for
Onda's municipal swimming pool is a public sports complex managed by Inturesport under a municipal concession. It is not a private club: anyone can enter by paying a day-entry fee, with no need to be a local resident or hold a season pass.
For visitors passing through Onda in July or August, the outdoor pool is a practical and affordable option to cool off without driving to the coast. It sits in the sports area on the southern edge of town, about 800 metres from the historic quarter and right next to the motorhome area.
Summer pool
The outdoor pool opens each year between mid-June and the end of August, every day from 11:00 to 20:30. It has a main pool, a lawn and sunbathing area, and a bar-restaurant where you can spend the whole day. There are no water slides or attractions: it is a standard municipal pool, comfortable and relaxed.

Indoor pool and gym
From September to June the heated indoor pool operates alongside a gym and instructor-led aquatic classes (swimming, aquagym). Opening hours are generous: Monday to Friday from 6:30 to 22:00, Saturdays 10:00–19:00, and Sundays 10:00–14:00. A day pass costs €3.50.
This is more useful for people spending several days or weeks in Onda (for work or a longer stay) than for a weekend visitor.
Free outdoor water play areas
In addition to the municipal pool, Onda Council sets up free water play zones every summer in three public parks around the town, aimed especially at families with young children:
- Ceramics Park
- Artesa Park
- Play and Recycle Park
These are usually set up during the hottest months. They are a no-cost option for a quick splash with the kids without paying for pool entry.
How to get there
If you are coming from the motorhome area, the pool is less than 200 metres away: leave via the Camino Fanzara exit, turn towards the sports zone and in 2 or 3 minutes on foot you will see the signposted entrance on the corner of Calle Torrechiva. It is literally the building next door.
From the historic quarter, about 800 metres heading south following signs to the sports centre. Parking is available in the area.
